Bhiwani: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini underscored his government's commitment to both the agricultural backbone and the sporting prowess of the state during his recent visit to Bhiwani. The event, held at the local Panchayat Bhawan, served as a platform to celebrate the 24th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme.
Empowering the Agricultural Sector
Joined by Agriculture Minister Shyam Singh Rana, CM Saini highlighted the transformative impact of the PM-Kisan initiative. Since its inception by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2019, the scheme has become a vital lifeline for millions, ensuring direct financial support reaches the bank accounts of eligible farmers. The Chief Minister urged the farming community to stay proactive in utilizing these government resources to enhance their livelihoods.
Celebrating Sporting Triumphs
The focus shifted from the fields to the arena at Bhim Stadium, where the administration prepared to honor 125 medalists from the Asian and Para Asian Games. A staggering ₹184 crore in rewards is set to be distributed, recognizing the dedication of athletes who have elevated Haryana's reputation on the global stage. The festivities also include a high-energy women's kabaddi match and a five-kilometer fitness race, with winners set to receive motorcycles and scooters.
Infrastructure and Future Growth
Beyond welfare and sports, the Chief Minister’s visit marked a significant step for local infrastructure. He is slated to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for eight key development projects. These initiatives are designed to bolster the district's infrastructure, reflecting the government's dual focus on immediate social support and long-term regional development.
The synergy between supporting our farmers and celebrating our champions defines the spirit of Haryana's progress.
