Dehradun – Prominent YouTuber and former Bigg Boss participant Anurag Dobhal, widely recognized as UK07 Rider, was placed under arrest by Dehradun police after a grievance alleged that he assaulted, threatened and stole from Raj Singh Chauhan, a relative of his spouse.

Why Did the Police Intervene?

The matter came to light when Chauhan approached the Nehru Colony police station, filing a formal complaint that listed a series of violent incidents. Authorities promptly registered a case and launched a detailed inquiry.

Key Allegations in the Complaint

According to Chauhan’s statement, the clash took place on 5 October near a café on Haridwar Bypass Road, where he had gone to meet Dobhal and his companions. Chauhan claims the encounter quickly turned hostile, leading to several alleged offenses, including:

  • Being physically assaulted and allegedly choked by Dobhal.
  • Violent attacks from multiple members of Dobhal’s entourage, resulting in injuries.
  • An attempted vehicle‑ramming.
  • Theft of his mobile phone and a gold chain.
  • Subsequent threats delivered via phone calls and social‑media messages.

All these points have been incorporated into the ongoing police probe.

Four Persons Taken Into Custody

Police received a tip about a scuffle near Haridwar Bypass Road on the night of 5 October. Responding officers found Dobhal and his team engaged in a dispute with Chauhan. Both sides were escorted to a nearby police outpost to prevent further escalation, but the confrontation continued, prompting senior officers to step in.

In the end, four individuals were detained: Anurag Dobhal and three associates identified as Abhishek, Abhay Chaudhary and Kurbaan. Chauhan was transported to Doon Hospital for medical assessment after sustaining injuries.

FIR Filing and Family Background

The Nehru Colony police lodged a First Information Report (FIR) based on Chauhan’s complaint, naming Dobhal and the three others. Investigators are working to reconstruct the timeline and assign responsibility to each participant.

The case also brings to light a reported family dispute involving Dobhal and his wife, Ritika. Raj Singh Chauhan is said to be related to Ritika, though police have not confirmed any direct link between the familial disagreement and the alleged assault.

Dobhal’s Response

Anurag Dobhal has publicly refuted the accusations, insisting that he and his group were the victims of an unprovoked attack. He claims his side reported the incident to the police immediately and that he will present his version of events during the investigation.

The investigation remains active. All allegations are subject to verification, and the final outcome will depend on the evidence gathered throughout the legal process.
