In the following episode, the veteran presenter broke away from his customary practice of standing centre‑stage for the introductory speech. Instead, he chose a chair and addressed the audience from there, citing the fresh injury as the reason for the adjustment.

Gesturing to his left knee, Bachchan reassured everyone that the ailment was minor. He explained that, although he would still rise to greet contestants, he preferred to remain seated for the opening segment because standing caused discomfort. The audience responded with heartfelt wishes for a speedy recovery.
