A Colourful Arrival at Birsa Munda Airport

When the newly appointed BJP state in‑charge for Jharkhand and his accompanying co‑incharges touched down at Birsa Munda Airport on Monday, the runway turned into a lively stage of drums, chants and cultural displays. Party workers lined the tarmac, draping garlands and scattering flower petals, while traditional percussion resonated with the region’s legacy.

Who Makes Up the New Squad

Heading the delegation was Gajendra Singh Patel, the party’s national general secretary who has just taken over as Jharkhand in‑charge. He was flanked by co‑incharges Saurabh Singh, chairman of the Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation, and Nivedita Singh, a member of the Bihar Legislative Council. Their combined track record is expected to inject fresh energy into the BJP’s state‑wide organisational framework.

Senior Party Stalwarts Join the Festivities

A crowd of senior BJP leaders from the state gathered to mark the event. In attendance were State President Aditya Sahu, Union Minister Sanjay Seth, former Chief Minister Arjun Munda, and state vice‑presidents Rakesh Prasad and Balmukund Sahay. Also present were Assembly chief whip Navin Jaiswal, state general secretaries Ganesh Mishra and Amar Kumar Bauri, minister Shalini Baisikhiyar, media chief Yogendra Pratap Singh, alongside a long list of other functionaries who partook in the celebration.

Strategic Vision Ahead

With the new team officially on board, the BJP has signalled a renewed emphasis on grassroots mobilisation and tighter coordination among its cadres. Party insiders anticipate that Patel’s experience, together with that of his co‑incharges, will help steer the organisation through forthcoming electoral battles and solidify its foothold across Jharkhand.
